Official American League (Brown) baseball signed in blue ink by Mickey Mantle and the two pitchers who surrendered, respectively, his final career home run and his final World Series home run: Jim Lonborg and Bob Gibson. Mantle has simply scripted his name across the sweet spot. Lonborg has inscribed the ball on a side panel above Mantle's name: "Jim Lonborg, 536th HR, 9/20/68." Gibson's inscription appears on the panel below Mantle's name and reads "18th WS HR, 10/15/64, Bob Gibson. The ball is hand-numbered "48/74."
