Displayed is a Richard Nixon signed cut signature measuring 2.75x4.3". Nixon was the 37th President of the United States, serving in the Oval Office from 1969 until 1974 when the Watergate Scandal caused him to become the first U.S. President in history to resign from office. Growing up as a poor Quaker in Yorba Linda, California, Nixon attended Whittier College, where he was an honors student and played on the football team and was on the school debate team as well. He was the United States Vice President from 1953-61, serving under President Dwight Eisenhower. Nixon was a Republican, and during his Presidency he presided over detente with the Soviet Union and China, withdrawal of U.S. troops from the Vietnam War, the Apollo 11 Moon Landing, and the establishment of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
