Official American League ball (league president's name obscured) signed in blue fountain by twelve individuals, including eight Hall of Famers and Moe Berg. This ball has a unique provenance. When our consignor was a young boy he received this ball directly from Ty Cobb, who was close friends with his parents. The twelve signatures appearing on the ball are those of Ty Cobb, Bill Terry, Will Harridge, Joe DiMaggio (sweet spot), Dazzy Vance, Carl Hubbell, George Weiss, Joe McCarthy, Ted Lyons, Moe Berg, Ford Frick, and "Mrs. Edward Collins." A few of the signatures are affected by abrasions, otherwise all grade 8/10 on average except for Harridge (faint; 2/10). The ball has been coated with a layer of protective shellac, which displays numerous small chips/abrasions. Fair to Good condition overall. Full LOA from PSA.
