A production proof from the 1940s that was used to create Herman Wedemeyer's card in the 1948-52 W468 Exhibit set. The piece has been encapsulated by PSA and the service has authenticated the photo as a Type I. In the photo, the Hawaiian-born tailback is carrying the ball. Wedemeyer only played professional football for two seasons, but had a very interesting post-playing career where he served in the Hawaii House of Representatives and appeared in 143 episodes of Hawaii Five-O.
