In the image, Dobbs, who also punted and played tailback is booting away a ball. The piece is encapsulated by PSA, who has authenticated the Photo as Type I Authentic. A star of the All-America Football Conference, Dobbs was named the league's MVP in 1946. Following his playing career, he would return to his alma mater of Tulsa, acting as the school's football coach and athletic director.
