Offered is a Shaquille O'Neal collection, with his unworn high school jersey, a red suit (worn by Shaq), a Shaq-signed cartoon, and two signed Shaq photos. O'Neal played 19 NBA seasons for six teams, most notably the Orlando Magic, the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Miami Heat. O'Neal was a key member of three Lakers NBA Champions and won another NBA Championship with the Miami Heat. O'Neal was a 15-time All-Star, an NBA MVP, and a 3-time Finals MVP. 1) Shaquille was born in Newark, New Jersey. His stepfather was a U.S. Army staff sergeant, and Shaq moved with his stepfather and mother to many Army posts, including those in Europe. Shaq played high school basketball in San Antonio, Texas, for Robert G. Cole High School. In his two high school varsity seasons, Shaq led Cole H.S. to a 68-1 record, and a State Championship in 1989, when he set a record for any size classification, by grabbing 791 rebounds. The offered sleeveless, mesh jersey is white, with green and gold trim. Across the chest is "COLE" in gold, with green and white trim. Below the school's name is "33" in gold, with green and white trim. On the lower left outside tail is a sewn-on Champions manufacturing tag which shows 44 for size. The jersey back has "33" in gold with green and white trim. On the left front outside, above the tail, is a stain of about a half inch in length. The unworn jersey is in EXCELLENT condition. 2) A red Reebok warm-up suit worn by Shaq. Of Nylon-like material, the warm-up suit sports white trim. No size tags are on the jacket, but Shaq is 7'1" and well over 300 lbs. There is a working white zipper that runs down the jacket front. The jacket has two lower pockets. The warm-up pants are all red. There is a Reebok tag in the waist and "Reebok" and the Reebok logo are embroidered near the left pocket. A Reebok tag is on the back, rear, inside waist. An inside red cord is present to tie up as a form of "belt." No size is indicated on the warm-up pants. Overall, the warm-up suit shows good use and yet remains in nice condition. 3) A Shaq signed cartoon, by Dana Summers of the Orlando Sentinel. Summers is an editorial cartoonist and comic strip creator. The cartoon measures approx. 8.5x12", and it humorously suggests that the Magic play at "The O'Neal Orena." Shaq signed the cartoon in black marker, and he inscribed his uniform number 32. 4) Two 8x10" color photos of Shaq in his Los Angeles Lakers uniform. Shaq signed each of the identical photos in black marker and inscribed his number 34. 5) A 1992 Topps Stadium Club encapsulated 2.5x3.5" Shaquille O'Neal (#247) Card in EXCELLENT condition. 6) A SkyBox encapsulated Shaquille O'Neal 2.5x3.5" Rookie Card, number 442, in EXCELLENT condition. The offered collection pays tribute to one of the NBA's greatest stars, and a personage still very much in the public eye as a television sports analyst and a frequent celebrity in television commercials.
