A bat used by All-Star catcher William Contreras to hit a home run against the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2022. The bat was made by Tucci, is 34" long, and weighs 32 ounces. The maple bat features a red rubber wrap around the handle and is hammered with use along with barrel with ball strikes and ink transfers. There is a small crack in the handle. The player has signed the bat on the barrel, inscribing, "2022 Game Used, HR #9 vs. Pirates." The lot will also include a Letter of Grading and Authenticity from PSA/DNA who have assigned the piece a grade of Game Used 9. A rookie in 2000, Contreras has emerged as one of the best catchers in the game, making the All-Star team in 2022 and 2024 and winning the Silver Slugger in 2023. This is a nice opportunity to own a piece of memorabilia from one of the game's bright young stars.
