Two pairs of game used uniform pants worn by Hall of Famer Craig Biggio in 1989, his second season in the Major Leagues. The first pair of Houston Astros uniform pants were made by Russell Athletic and the interior tag shows they are a size 34 with a 27" inseam. A second, stitched tag reads: Biggio 34 27 D. This pair features heavy pink staining along the waist and dirt stains throughout. There are several team repairs along the knees. The other pair, also from Russell Athletic, are a size 33" with a 24" inseam. A secondary tag reads, BIGGIO-33-24 and Set 1 1989. This pair also features heavy dirt staining and team repairs throughout. While he would eventually become a Gold Glove second baseman, Biggio broke into the league as a catcher and that is the position he played during this time period. A seven-time All-Star and a member of the 3,000 hit club, Biggio was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2015.
