A Kansas City Chiefs jersey worn by quarterback Rich Gannon during the 1998 season. The collar tag shows that the white number 12 jersey is a size 44 and made by Reebok. There is also a Reebok/Pro Line front tail tag noting the year. Gannon signed the jersey on the reverse 1 in black marker and inscribed on the number 2, "GAME WORN 1998." The lot will come with a Certificate of Authenticity from Heritage Auctions and an additional Certificate of Authenticity from Beckett. Gannon would play for the Chiefs for four seasons before moving to Oakland where he had the best years of his career, winning the league's MVP Award in 2002. He retired in 2004 and later became a commentator for CBS Sports.
