There is a second tag that reads Set 1 1988. The jersey, which has additional velcro between the second and third buttons, shows nice signs of wear with loose threading and dirt stains evident. The lot will also include a Certificate of Authenticity from Ballpark Heroes in Bedford, Indiana. Viola, a three-time All-Star who won 176 games, had his finest season in 1988, finishing with a record of 24-7 and an ERA of 2.64. He retired after the 1996 season and was later inducted into the Minnesota Twins Hall of Fame.
