Displayed are two Oscar Robertson multi-signed autograph sheets that in total contain 100 autographs by the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame point guard. Robertson starred at Crispus Attucks High School in Indianapolis, Indiana, and in his junior season, the team was upset by little Milan High School, depicted in the somewhat fictionalized film Hoosiers. Robertson, known as "the Big O," was a tremendous star at the University of Cincinnati and in the NBA for the Cincinnati Royals (1960-61 through 1969-70) and the Milwaukee Bucks (1970-71 through 1973-74). In the 1961-62 NBA season, Robertson became the first NBA player to average a triple-double. In 1970-71, he teamed with Hall of Fame center Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (then known as Lew Alcindor) to lead the Bucks to the NBA Championship. For his pro career, Robertson averaged 25.7 PPG, 7.5 TRB, and 12.5 APG. Robertson wrote 100 individual signatures on two pieces of thick, black card stock, divided into 100 1x3" sections, 50 on each 10x15" sheet. These 100-signature sheets come from the same consignor who is offering the Mickey Mantle 99 autograph sheet in this auction. Using a fine tip gold-color marker, Robertson signed each of the 100 sections in big and bold, neat script, as "Big O." The signature sheet is in Excellent condition.
