A Houston Astros jersey worn by legendary pitcher Randy Johnson during the 1998 season. The front tail tag shows that the white number 51 jersey was made by Russell Athletic and is a size 50. There are also 5" of additional length due to Johnson's 6'10" frame. The jersey shows nice wear with loose threading evident. There is also glue adhesive present on the reverse side as the item was hung in a frame. Johnson would only play for the Astros for half a season after a trade from the Seattle Mariners. One of the greatest pitchers of all time, Johnson won 5 Cy Young Awards during his career. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2015.
