A bat used during the 2009 season by former MVP Ryan Braun. The Original Maple Bat Co. bat is 35 inches long, 32.5 ounces, and has a crack in the handle. The barrel of the bat is hammered with use with ball strikes up and down the barrel and a coat of pine tar on the handle. Braun's number 8 is written on the knob. The lot will also include a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA and the service has assigned the bat a grade of Game Used 8.5. The 2007 Rookie of the Year, the 2010 MVP, a 6-time All-Star, and a 5-time Silver Slugger Award winner, Braun was one of the most feared hitters of his day. He played his entire 14-year career with the Milwaukee Brewers, retiring in 2020, and is a member of the team's Wall of Fame.
