Baines' number 3 is written on the knob and the bat shows outstanding signs of use with ball strikes and transfers on the barrel. Baines has also signed the item on the barrel in silver marker, notating, "Game Used 1990." The lot will include a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA and the service has assigned the bat a grade of Game Used 9.5. Baines was a stalwart hitter throughout his 22 years in the big leagues, making 6 All-Star teams. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2019.
