Lobby card issued for the 1950 Lippert Pictures Inc. rerelease of "March of the Wooden Soldiers," signed by actor Stan Laurel atop his image. Laurel has signed the piece in blue ink (grading 9/10), while also including the year of his signing, "'64," below his name. The comedy duo of Laurel and Hardy were active from 1927-55, appearing as a team in 107 films. Hardy would pass away in 1957 and Laurel would pass away in 1965. "March of the Wooden Soldiers," which was originally released in 1934 under the title "Babes in Toyland," is perhaps Oliver and Hardy's most beloved film and in the ensuing years it has become a holiday staple on television during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons. The lobby card (13.5x10.5"; visible dimensions) is in apparent Near Mint condition. Matted and framed to total dimensions of 19x16".
