Offered is a Fred McGriff game used bat that was used during the 2004 season. The dark brown Louisville Slugger model C271 bat is 35" long and weighs 32.6 ounces. McGriff's signature is engraved on the barrel of the bat above "TAMPA BAY DEVIL RAYS." The bat is uncracked with evidence of outstanding use as there are ball marks along the barrel and a moderate coat of pine tar on the handle. McGriff's number 29 is written on the knob of the bat in black marker. 2004 was McGriff's final season in his Hall of Fame career. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2023.
