Presented is a Cal Ripken Jr. game used bat from the 1997-98 season. The black Louisville Slugger P72 model bat is 35" long and weighs 32.7 ounces. Ripken's signature is engraved in the barrel of the bat above "BALTIMORE ORIOLES." The bat shows outstanding use and the handle is cracked. Ripken signed the barrel of the bat with a silver Sharpie. Ripken played for the Orioles from 1981 to 2001 and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2007. Full LOA from PSA (GU 9).
