Displayed is a 1990s Jorge Posada New York Yankees personal equipment canvas bag that he used to take his catcher's gear from city to city. Posada played 17 Major League seasons (1995-2011), all with the New York Yankees. The 5-time All-Star was a 5-time Silver Slugger and was a part of four World Championships. The switch-hitter batted a career .273 with 275 home runs. The blue bag has a width of approx. 15" and a length of approx. 36". A large, white "W," for the bag's Wilson manufacturers, is stenciled on the top. Also, on the top is a "pocket" compartment with a working button snap on top that displays Posada's number "20" in black on a 2.5x4" white piece of paper, with a few small, partial paper tears. On the bag's side is a white, stenciled New York Yankees interlocking "NY." Also, on the side is an embroidered "Jorge Posada," about 7.5" long and averaging a height of approx. 1.3". On top is a tag reading, "Triple M Bag Co." The bag shows great use and yet is in fine, working condition.
