1898-99 National Copper Plates Co. Portraits Joe Corbett. The National Copper Plate Company, which supplied The Sporting News with its player-portrait supplements between the years 1899-1900, also used most of the same images to publish a bound portfolio of fifty player images. The offered image of Corbett originates from that portfolio and features numerous small holes along the left border resulting from its removal. Additionally, it displays several light creases, corner wear, and minor soiling along the edges. Fair to Good condition overall.
