The uncracked 35.0" long, 34.1 ounce bat shows extensive signs of use with ball strikes evident on the barrel. The labeling period for the bat is 1973-75 meaning that the item was used towards the end of Aaron's illustrious career. The lot will also include a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA. In addition, the grading service has assigned the bat a grade of GU 8. Aaron is one of the most iconic players in baseball history, holding the career home run record for several decades before it was broken by Barry Bonds. The former Milwaukee and Atlanta Brave passed away in 2021 at the age of 86.
