Collection of three original cabinet photos, each picturing one or more members of the National League Baltimore Orioles, circa late 1890s. Each photo (3.75x4.75") is affixed to a black cardboard mount (5x6"), with two of the mounts bearing handwritten identifications on the reverse. 1) Two members of the Orioles posing together on the field. The handwritten identification on the reverse reads "McMahon & Brodie." Based upon our research, that identification appears to be correct. Steve Brodie played with the Orioles from 1893-96, and again from 1898-99. Sadie McMahon played with the Orioles from 1892-96. 2) A member of the Orioles striking a batting pose on the field. The handwritten identification on the reverse reads Tom O'Brien. There were two players named Tom O'Brien on the Orioles' roster in the 1890s. This appears to be the second of the two, who was with the club in 1897 and 1898. 3) A member of the Orioles having a good-natured sparring bout with a young boy. No identification is listed on the reverse. The last of the three cabinet photos listed has some chips to the mount, otherwise, all are in Excellent to Mint condition overall.
