Circa late 1940s/early 1950s Spalding Phil Cavarretta model retail bat featuring the signatures of Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams, and Joe DiMaggio on the barrel. Each player has signed the bat in gold paint pen and while the signatures grade 8/10 on average, they contrast poorly against the dark grain of the bat. Bats signed by Mantle, Williams, and DiMaggio are exceedingly rare and this is just the second example we have offered in the past twenty-five years. The bat, which is not cracked, displays heavy wear, including fading to both the silver center brand and barrel stampings. Good to Very Good condition overall. Length: 35 inches. Weight: 31.5 ounces.
