The white knit pinstriped jersey features the club's "NY" logo on the left breast and the number "26" on the reverse. Both the logo and numerals are applied in navy tackle twill. Located on the left front tail are a "Russel Athletic 46" label, a strip tag bearing the player's name and year (Fox - 96), and a tag reading 2" Extra Length. An official 1996 World Series patch appears on the right sleeve, while a black armband (in memory of former broadcaster Mel Allen) appears on the left sleeve. Fox has signed the jersey "Andy Fox 26" in blue Sharpie (grading 9/10) on the upper left breast (directly above the logo). The jersey is original as issued and displays light use. The Yankees were home for three of the six games during the 1996 World Series and Fox appeared in two of those three games. In Game 1 he replaced Mariano Duncan for two innings at second base, but had no plate appearances. In Game 2 he entered the game as a pinch runner for Cecil Fielder in the bottom of the ninth inning, but again had no plate appearance. For the season, Fox appeared in 113 games and finished the year with 3 home runs, 13 RBI, and a .196 batting average.
