A massive collection of boxing postcards that span from the 1900s through the 1950s. Overall, the 334 postcards would grade out as being in G to VG condition. The collection features many of the biggest stars of the era including 75+ of Jack Dempsey, 15+ of James Jeffries, and 12+ of Jess Willard. Other fighters from the era in the lot include: Harry Greb, Tommy Burns, Bob Fitzsimmons, Jimmy Britt, Frank Moran, Max Schmeling, Frank Klaus, Max Baer, Primo Carnera, Sam Langford, Sam McVey, and Joe Louis. The collection features all types of postcards including real photos, printed, linens, and pre-linens. While there are duplicates in the set, most of the collection is different. This is one of the most impressive collections of postcards from this era we've encountered with some having not been seen before.
