Collection of thirteen original film negatives, dating from the 1930s to the 1950s, featuring both Hall of Famers and stars. Each negative measures 4x5 inches, with several displaying descriptive notations written along the top border. The dates/years listed are based solely upon what is written on either the negative or the sleeve in which it is housed. 1) Joe Medwick during the 1934 World Series as he leaves the field as ordered by Commissioner Landis (negative displays reticulation due to emulsion shrinking). 2) 1934 World Series crowd scene. 3) Raising the 1934 pennant flag at Navin Field on June 14, 1935. 4) Crowd on a city street celebrating the Tigers 1935 World Series win. 5) Crowd scene at Navin Field on June 21, 1936. 6) Bill Veeck sitting in his office with an injured leg in 1945. 7) Ted Kazanski of the Phillies posing on the field in 1953. 8) Duke Snider and Carl Furillo posing on the field together in 1955. 9) Five members of the Cincinnati Reds posing together on the field, circa 1955. 10) Eddie Miksis and Sam Jones of the Cubs posing together in the locker room in 1955. 11) George Kell posing on the field with Baltimore Orioles teammates Bob Neiman and Mike Fornieles in 1957. 12-13) Two slightly different photos of Early Wynn and Nellie Fox together on the field, each receiving, respectively, his 1959 Cy Young Award and 1959 MVP Award. Excellent condition overall, with the exception of the 1934 Medwick negative.
