A collection of 40 full, unused tickets from the February 4th, 1993, Boston Celtics game where the team honored Larry Bird. 23 of the tickets have seat numbers and could be sent out for grading, and 17 of the tickets are proofs without seat numbers. The average ticket in the lot is in EX to EX-MT condition and includes some better examples. The iconic Boston Celtics player retired following the 1992 season due to ongoing issues with his back. The team honored him on this night in 1993. During the ceremony, which included Boston sports legend Bobby Orr and Bird's long-time rival, Magic Johnson, the player's number 33 was raised to the rafters and retired.
