The oldest ball in the lot has been signed by 25 members of the New York Giants. A stamped version of Leo Durocher's signature is on the sweet spot of the ball. Authentic signatures include Hoyt Wilhelm, Bobby Thomson, Sal Maglie, Wes Westrum, Bill Rigney, and more. The 1963 ball has 23 autographs. Key signatures include Willie Mays, Willie McCovey, Gaylord Perry, Juan Marichal, Orlando Cepeda, and Don Larsen. There is a stamped version of Alvin Dark's signature on the ball. The 1964 ball includes the signature of Mays, McCovey, Perry, Cepeda, and Harvey Kuenn. Also written on the ball is "1964 GIANTS" in an unknown hand. Finally, the 1966 ball has 27 autographs, including signatures from McCovey, Perry, Marichal, and others. The Mays signature is a secretarial version, and Herman Franks is stamped. Each baseball was produced by Spalding and is an Official National League (Giles) ball.
