Offered is a Patrick Mahomes Jr. signed Kansas City Royals limited-edition, beautiful, presentational baseball bat. Mahomes is the youngest part-owner of a major sports franchise in United States history, as he became a part-owner of the Kansas City Royals in 2020, when he was only twenty-five years old. Mahomes' interest in baseball comes naturally, as he is the son of Patrick Mahomes Sr., a right-handed pitcher for 11 seasons in the Major Leagues. Mahomes Sr. has a 42-39 career record, with a 5.47 ERA, mostly in relief. He pitched for the Minnesota Twins, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox, Pittsburgh Pirates, Texas Rangers, and Chicago Cubs. His best season was in 1999, when he was 8-0 with a 3.68 ERA with the New York Mets, all in relief. Patrick Mahomes Jr. was a terrific high school pitcher, but he decided to do his "pitching" in football, and he has played six NFL seasons as a quarterback, all with the Kansas City Chiefs, with a remarkable achievement of leading the Chiefs to four Super Bowl appearances, winning three Super Bowls and being the Super Bowl MVP in each of the three. After the 2023 season, he led the Chiefs to his most recent Super Bowl win, a 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. In that game, he completed 34 of 46 passes for two touchdowns, with a single interception. The offered bat is a work of art. In mostly two-tone blue, the Louisville Slugger bat has an etched Kansas City Royals logo on the barrel. Etched on the barrel: "KANSAS CITY ROYALS YOUNGEST PART-OWNER IN US SPORTS HISTORY" and "MLB 2020 Limited Edition 21 OF 500." The bat is 34" in length, and it weighs 30.2 ounces. Patrick Mahomes Jr. signed the bat on the barrel using a silver marker. On the bat knob is a Beckett LOA sticker (#WE28020) and on the barrel is an MLB hologram sticker (#BCD53522520). It's a great remembrance for a player who is already one of the best quarterbacks in pro football history.
