Displayed is an offering of Ken Griffey Jr. Seattle Mariners' 1990s game worn batting gloves and game worn wristband. Known as both "Junior" and "the Kid," Griffey played with Seattle from 1989-99, and in 1990-91, he was on the same team as his father, Ken Griffey Sr., and Junior hit 630 homers in his career and won 10 Gold Gloves. The blue Nike batting gloves, size "large", have a sewn-on "24" in two places and a sewn-on "Junior" in one spot, and the wristband has an embroidered "24" in two places; both the gloves and wristband show heavy wear.
