Mahomes played in only one game for the Chiefs in 2017, his first NFL season. Before the 2018 season, Kansas City traded Adam Smith, making room for Mahomes to start. Mahomes was sensational as he led the Chiefs to the Conference Final and was named the NFL MVP. Mahomes is currently in his eighth NFL season, and in late September of '24, he has a career 66.5% completion percentage, and he has thrown for 29,083 yards with 224 touchdowns and only 67 interceptions. He has led the Chiefs to four Super Bowls, winning three of them. The 6-time Pro Bowler is a 2-time Associated Press NFL MVP. Mahomes has signed the Official NFL "Duke" football with a thick, silver marker, and Mahomes' big and bold, second-year signature is eye-catching and terrific. The included LOA from McKay Custom Sports states a date of February 10th, 2019, so Mahomes signed this before then. "Mahomes" on the right side, the Chiefs' logo on left, and the stats "2018 First Team All-Pro, 5,079 Passing Yards, 50 TDs, 2018 NFL MVP" are beautifully hand-painted. In 2018, Mahomes became only the second player to throw for 5,000 yards and at least 50 touchdowns in the same season. The only other quarterback to reach these marks in the same season was Peyton Manning (2013). The football is numbered 1/1, and the artist has added the initials "EL."
