Presented is a 1942 Herb Pennock signed bank check. The pale green colored check measures 6.25x2.75" and has been filled out in green ink by Pennock. Pennock dated the check 12/14/42 and wrote the name C. B. Harvey on the "Pay to the order of" line. He also wrote in the amount ($20.00), and check number on the front of the check, and signed his full name, "Herbert J. Pennock" on the signature line. The back of the check was signed by C.B. Harvey. Small holes were punched into the check that spell the word "PAID." Pennock was a star pitcher on 6 World Series-winning teams, including the 1927 Yankees, who some consider to be the best baseball team of all time. Pennock was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1948. Comes with PSA LOA.
