A game worn New York baseball Giants cap from the early 1940s. With the United States at war, the team began to wear a patriotic red, white, and blue hat. The band on the inside of the label shows the felt hat was made by Goldsmith. The size, 7 1/8, is stitched into the leather band. While it is not certain which player wore the hat, this model wasn't available for sale in stores. This helps to capture a very specific time in American history and is both rare and unique.
