A trophy presented to Jack Lambert for being the best defensive lineman on the 1971 Kent State Football team. The brown and gold trophy reads: 19 - K.S.U. - 71 - Best Defensive Lineman. Jack Lambert first came to Kent State as a quarterback, but moved to defensive end for the 1971 season. He would move to middle linebacker in 1972 and was named the MAC's Player of the Year. The trophy comes from Lambert's personal collection and has been signed by the linebacker in two spots. The item will also come with a letter from Lambert that reads: This item was obtained by me, Jack Lambert, and has never been previously offered to the public. I hope that you enjoy this memento as much as I have. The letter is also signed by Lambert.
