A ticket signed by famed jockey Willie Shoemaker from his last race, which took place on February 3, 1990, in Santa Anita. The ticket, which reads, The Shoe's Last Ride, has been signed by the jockey in blue ink. The autograph has been verified and encapsulated by PSA/DNA and also includes a Certificate of Authenticity from JSA. Shoemaker began his career as a teenage jockey in 1949 and would go on to win the Kentucky Derby 4 times, The Preakness twice and the Belmont Stakes on 5 occasions. When he retired, he was the winningest jockey in racing history, though that record has since been broken. Shoemaker passed away in 2003 at the age of 72.
