Baltimore Orioles orange alternate jersey (used for both home and road games) worn by third baseman Ray Knight in 1987. The orange knit jersey is lettered Orioles on the front and features the number 25 on both the left breast and reverse. Knight is lettered on an orange nameplate on the reverse, directly above the number. All numerals and front letters are applied in black-on-white tackle twill. All reverse letters are applied in black tackle twill. Located on the interior left front tail are a Rawlings 44 label and an adjacent orange flag tag bearing both the set number and year (1 87) stitched in black. Knight has inscribed the jersey in black marker (grading 6/10) on the left front tail: "Best Wishes/Ray Knight/#25." The jersey is original as issued and displays light wear. 1987 marked Ray Knight's penultimate season in the Majors and his only year with Baltimore. Appearing in 150 games, Knight finished the season with 14 home runs, 65 RBI, and a .256 batting average.
