2017 Ryan Getzlaf Anaheim Ducks St. Patrick's Day pregame jersey is green with tartan-pattern shoulders and flying D Ducks logo crest across the chest. Size 58 is in the collar, Reebok Special Edition tag is sewn on the front tail while the Ducks official team tag is sewn inside tail. Reebok strip patch is on left breast below the Captain's "C" in white-on-green-and-gold tackle twill. White clover patch is sewn to each shoulder and number 15 is on shoulders and back in white-on-green-and-gold; name is on a plate in the same style above the rear number. Getzlaf signed on the back "5" in black 7/10 Sharpie, inscribing his number. As is common in the NHL, special theme jerseys such as this are generally used in pregame warmups and offered for auction, thus this is an authentic player-worn jersey which was never intended for game use. Getzlaf left an indelible mark on the Anaheim franchise, retiring after the 2022 season as the Ducks' all-time leader games played, assists, and points. Alas, the luck of the Irish wasn't with those Ducks in that night's game, a 2-1 shootout loss to the Buffalo Sabres. While Getzlaf was held scoreless on the night, he did hit the net in the shootout, to no avail.
