Addendum (6/20/24: 5:17 pm):  Please note that the original description for this lot erroneously included the signatures of Clarke Hinkel and Cecil Isbell. Neither signature is present on this sheet. Also, the sheet features fourteen signatures, three of which are secretarial (listed below in our description).

Displayed is a 1941 Green Bay Packers signed sheet with 14 signatures. The 1941 Green Bay Packers finished in first place in the West Division of the NFL, with a regular season record of 10-1-0. The Packers lost in the West Division playoff to the Chicago Bears. The team's leading scorer was Pro Football Hall of Fame end Don Hutson, who had 95 points. Tailback Cecil Isbell was the leading team passer with 117 completions in 206 attempts, for 15 touchdowns. The Packers' leading runner that season was fullback Clarke Hinkle, with 393 yards and five touchdowns. Versatile back Tony Canadeo was also a key part of the offense. Pro Football Hall of Famer Curly Lambeau was a co-founder of the Green Bay Packers. He was a star halfback on the team and won his only NFL Championship as a player when he was a player-head coach in 1929. He was the head coach and general manager of the Packers from 1920-49, winning six NFL Championships. The Packers' home, Lambeau Field, is named after Curly Lambeau. The 11 signatures on the sheet: Hall of Famers: Lambeau, Don Hutson, Tony Canedeo. Plus, Tom Greenfield, Lee McLaughlin, Pete Tinsley, Charlie Brock, Lou Brock (with neither Brock a relation to Baseball Hall of Famer Lou Brock), Ed Frutig, Herm Rohrig, and one other (illegible). The additional three signatures of Buford "Baby" Ray (twice) and Bill Lee are secretarial. The signatures are in blue or black fountain ink. Lambeau's signature is big and bold, and beautifully scripted. The page rates a grade of 10, while the signatures average 8/10. The offering comes with a PSA LOA.
