A 9" tall by 5.25" diameter vase that was either sold or given away during the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, Germany. The white vase features gold leaf on the top and bottom of the piece (some leaf on the top has worn off) with the games' logo and the words Olympia 1936. The bottom of the porcelain vase is stamped, "Genemicht - Vom Propaganda - Ausschuss - Der Olympischen Spiele 1936." The 1936 games are among the most famous as they were held in Germany during Adolf Hitler's rise to power. These games also featured an amazing performance by American track star Jesse Owens who stunned the world by winning four gold medals.
