Large collection of sixty-four single-signed baseballs featuring forty Hall of Famers, including Mantle, Ted Williams (three examples), Hank Aaron (two examples), Willie Mays (two examples), and Joe DiMaggio (two examples). Also featured are balls signed by five former Negro League stars, as well as those signed by nineteen additional players, nearly all of whom played in the Major Leagues. This collection is new to the hobby and all the balls were obtained by our consignor in person at various events during the 1980s and 1990s. Unless otherwise noted, all are either Official American or National League balls and have been signed on the sweet spot. The signatures, scripted in a variety of inks range in grade from 4/10 to 10/10, averaging 8/10. Many of the balls display varying degrees of age toning and are otherwise in Near Mint condition. Hall of Famers (40): Hank Aaron (2), Ernie Banks (2), Cool Papa Bell (on a side panel), Johnny Bench, Lou Brock (2), Steve Carlton, Joe DiMaggio (2), Bob Feller (4), Whitey Ford (2), Bob Gibson, Monte Irvin (2), Reggie Jackson (2), Mickey Mantle, Juan Marichal (2), Eddie Mathews, Willie Mays (2), Johnny Mize, Hal Newhouser, Cool Papa Bell, Frank Robinson, Tom Seaver, Duke Snider (2), Warren Spahn, Ted Williams (3), and Dave Winfield.
