Game-used baseball from the infamous Game 2 of the 2007 ALDS between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Indians at Jacobs Field. In one of the most memorable postseason games in modern history, the Indians tied the score at 1-1 with a run in the bottom of the eighth inning, albeit with the help of a swarm of midges. The small insects descended upon the field of play late in the game, so upsetting Yankees reliever Joba Chamberlain that he walked Grady Sizemore, who eventually scored as a result of a sacrifice bunt and two wild pitches. The game was eventually halted because of the bugs, with the Indians eventually winning the game 2-1 in eleven innings. The Official Major League (Selig) ball is moderately soiled and displays wear consistent with its game use. An MLB hologram label (BB646571) is affixed to the ball.
