This is the only 1975 World Series Game 1 full ticket graded at this level by PSA and just one of nine such examples listed in the PSA Population Report. In what is generally regarded as one of the greatest World Series in baseball history, the Reds defeated the Red Sox in a thrilling seven-game series. Game 1 saw Boston ace Louis Tiant blank the "Big Red Machine," led by Pete Rose and Johnny Bench, by a score of 6-0. This is an outstanding and seldom seen full ticket commemorating the first game of the most memorable World Series in modern times.
