1972 National League Championship ticket stub issued for Game 2 at Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Stadium, which was Roberto Clemente's final game in Pittsburgh. PSA has encapsulated the ticket and certified it as Authentic. No one in attendance that day ever dreamed that they would be watching Clemente play at home for the final time. Unfortunately, the sad truth was realized a few months later when he died tragically in a plane crash on New Year's Eve while flying relief supplies to survivors of the Nicaraguan earthquake. The ticket stub (4.25x1.75") was at one time detached along the rain-check perforation and then later reattached by means of clear tape on both the front and reverse. Numerous creases are also evident throughout.
