Bank check, dated September 4, 1954, signed by iconic Hollywood sex symbol Marilyn Monroe. PSA has encapsulated the check and certified the signature as Authentic. The check, drawn on the Bank of America of Los Angeles, California, is made out to "Margaret Taylor" in the amount of $75.00. Signed "Marilyn Monroe" in blue ink (grading 7/10) along the base. Endorsed by Taylor on the reverse. Monroe signed this check during her brief marriage to Joe DiMaggio, which lasted just nine months (January to October, 1954). September, 1954, was also when Monroe began shooting "The Seven Year Itch," which featured her famous subway-skirt scene on the streets of New York City. The check (6x2.75"), which has both bank cancellations and holes, displays three vertical folds, several light creases, and a few handwritten notations on the front correcting the address of the bank.
