FAILED PSA

March 1971 issue of Sport magazine features a great color image of Pistol Pete Maravich - one hand dribbling, the other nearly on the hardwood floor for balance - and includes a 7/10 ballpoint ink signature from the Hall of Famer. The magazine is in VG condition with some wrinkling evident, likely from water damage. Sport was one of the premier magazines of its time, actually predating Sports Illustrated and publishing from 1948-2000. So exceptional were Pistol Pete's unique skills and style of play that he was selected to the Hall of Fame despite playing just 10 seasons due to injury; it's worth noting that he remains the NCAA's All-Time Scoring leader despite only being on the varsity squad at LSU for three seasons, and having played in the era before the 3-point line and shot clock were implemented.
