Offered is a great find for any baseball fan and particularly for anyone fascinated by the legendary Brooklyn Dodgers of the 1940s-50s: A 7x9" black & white photo depicting Ebbets Field in the 1940s and signed by seventeen (17) Brooklyn Dodgers. Hall of Famers: Sandy Koufax, Duke Snider, Pee Wee Reese, and Billy Herman. Also, Carl Furillo, Sal Maglie, Al Gionfriddo, Sandy Amoros, Clem Labine, Ed Miskis, Cal Abrams, Carl Erskine, Billy Loes, George "Shotgun" Shuba, Don Newcombe, Joe Black, and Gene Hermanski. Ten of the above-mentioned signers were on the Brooklyn Dodgers' only World Championship team, in 1955: Reese, Amoros, Snider, Furillo, Shuba, Miksis, Newcombe, Erskine, Koufax, Loes, and Labine. The offered photo is an outstanding shot that conveys a packed crowd, close to the players in a packed Ebbets Field. The autographs are in blue marker or blue fine tip marker, except for that of Cal Abrams, signed in black fine tip marker. The autographs are 8-9/10. The back of the photo has an Acme News Features stamp. The corners of the photo have been clipped, most likely for placing the photo in an album. Except for the clipped corners, the photo is in excellent condition. The offering has been encapsulated and PSA/DNA Certified as TYPE I AUTHENTIC.
