Red-and-blue stitched baseball signed by Hall of Fame outfielder Ty Cobb. The famed Georgia Peach has inscribed the ball in blue fountain pen (grading 3/10) on a side panel: "Ty Cobb/April 25, 1926." Cobb was player/manager of the Tigers in 1926. On April 25, 1926, the Tigers hosted the Chicago White Sox, with Cobb going hitless in his one at bat (as a pinch hitter) in the club's 4-2 loss that day. The ball displays extensive wear, including numerous abrasions, but the signature panel is the least affected. None of the manufacturer's stampings are visible. Fair condition overall.
