1982-83 Mike Moller Buffalo Sabres game worn jersey is road blue with yellow highlights and circular running buffalo/crossed swords crest across the chest; smaller version patch is on each shoulder. Sandow SportKnit tag is in the collar along with another which has completely faded from washing and wear. Evidence of extensive game use includes 10 team repairs, black marks, scrapes, a few small holes from wear, pilling, leather button-loop fight strap, and everything you want to see on a vintage jersey. Number 14 on shoulders and back are in white-on-yellow tackle twill, name in all yellow letters is on a plate above the rear number. The outline of a previous nameplate on back is underneath the current one, which is a period nameplate - not a recent restoration - though it does show some contrast to the base jersey. During the '81-82 season, Moller played just nine games with the parent Sabres, during which he wore number 9; number 14 was worn by Alan Haworth. The following year, Moller played 49 games in Buffalo wearing number 14, thus it is likely that he inherited this sweater from Haworth, with only the nameplate changing. Comes with MeiGray LOA.
