Presented is a 2000 Dermontti Dawson game used helmet from his last Steelers game. The helmet comes with a letter signed by Dawson in silver ink that reads, "This game used Pittsburg (sic) Steelers game used helmet was the only Steeler helmet I ever kept and was from my last game I ever played." The Riddell helmet has the Steelers logo on the right side and is blank on the left. Dawson's number 63 is on the front of the helmet, above the facemask, and at the back of the bottom part of the helmet. A yellow stripe is painted in the center of the helmet, and the stripe is in between the "6" and "3." On the left side of the back of the helmet is the NFL shield logo, and on the right is a warning/safety sticker. There is another warning sticker on the inside of the helmet at the left ear area. Red tape is also present near the inside ear holes. The chin strap is attached to the helmet and shows heavy signs of wear. The helmet shows heavy game use, including scuffs, scratches, and paint loss. Dawson is part of the 2012 NFL Hall of Fame Class.
