1950 signed "Joe Jackson" government postcard was actually penned by his wife, Katie. As Shoeless Joe was famously illiterate, his wife handled most of those duties, though he did occasionally trace her version and did have some ability to sign as his life progressed, though his autograph is exceedingly rare. Blank side of the 3x5" card is "signed" in blue ink along with the handwritten date, 4-11-50. Opposite side has the typewritten name of the autograph seeker, "Joe Jackson" written in the top left corner in unknown hand, and postal cancellation reading Greenville with a date of Apr 11 1950. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA as MRS. JOE JACKSON, it is certified as AUTHENTIC AUTO.
