Unique full-body racing suit worn by Japanese racing star Hiro Matsushita during the 1997 season. This red, royal blue, and white suit is covered in sponsor's patches including Panasonic and Duskin prominently featured on the chest and front color. Hiro Matushita's name is embroidered in white on the red Velcro belt. The suit shows signs of medium wear with pilling on the inside and some loose threads. Matsushita was active on the racing scene in CART, Championship Car, Indy Car, Champ Car Atlantic Series, and Lady Wigram Trophy, and the American Racing Series from 1987 to 2001. Matsushita was the first Japanese driver to race in the Indianapolis 500.
